What Are We All About?

The Hopewell story is truly amazing. We have seen God do amazing things and He has brought many new members to our family. We have purchased 86 acres on Highway 601 and are making plans to start an additional campus there in the spring of 2010. In order to get us from where we are now to where we feel God desires to take us we are focusing on our main purpose which is, “Leading People To Follow Christ”. We have adopted a three strand approach that includes Worship, Discipleship and Ministry to help us reach our purpose because Ecclesiastes 4:12 teaches that a cord of three strands is not easily broken. We believe that our number one assignment is to Worship God in spirit and truth; we believe that through Discipleship we learn how to be a true follower of Christ and we believe that each member should be actively involved in Ministry. As you look around this web site you can see that there are many opportunities for us to become the three strand cord so that in the world we live we will not be easily broken.

		We Are a Believing Church
		We believe the Bible is the written Word of God. It is without error and contains the answers to all of our problems. We believe Jesus is God’s only Son and He came to give us eternal life. John 3:16 He was born of a virgin, died on a cross, was buried, rose again three days later and ascended into Heaven where He awaits those that believe in Him. We believe all have sinned and are separated from God.   Romans 3:23 We believe the penalty for that sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. Romans 6:23
		We Are A Belonging Church

		If we focus on these 5 things the results will be that we are becoming more like Jesus and we will see:            Numerical Growth     Spiritual Growth     Ministry Growth   Kingdom Growth
