At the start of service on September 17, 2023, Pastor Lee took a few moments to answer some commonly asked questions about his one-year retirement plan and gave a brief look at what the next year holds for Hopewell Baptist Church.  whatasavior.com/transition

On September 10, 2023, Dr. Lee Pigg announced his one year retirement plan from Hopewell Baptist Church of Monroe. After faithfully serving Hopewell for a quarter of a century, Pastor Lee and his wife Michelle are asking the church to join them in celebrating this decision as he truly believes the greatest days of Hopewell are not behind us, but in front of us. In approximately six months Hopewell will seek an Interim Pastor. September 22, 2024 is scheduled to be Pastor Lee’s last day at the church. Hopewell will be releasing more information and videos throughout the process to keep their members and community informed during the transition.
