Kindergarten - 5th Grade

The Adventure Kids Children's Ministry is for all Kindergarten-5th grade children available during 1st Service (9:00am) and 2nd Service (10:45am) at Hopewell Baptist Church. This is provided so our Hopewell parents can have the opportunity to get involved in Discipleship Groups while knowing their child is in an environment where it's all about worshiping & learning more about Jesus! Students are allowed to stay for only one of the Adventure Kids services. This provides an opportunity for our Adventure Kids to also attend Main Worship with you which is an important experience and a great opportunity for our young members to learn and grow as a family.

Each week at Adventure Kids, we set off on another amazing Bible adventure featuring a dynamic large group time filled with interactive games, engaging worship songs, and video Bible lessons. After this time together, leaders drive home the main lesson in small groups arranged by age and gender, where kids can establish important relationships with their peers, their leaders, and most importantly, with Jesus! Our Sunday morning curriculum is based off of Hyfi through Lifeway. Wednesday night's curriculum is created through Grow. Each lesson is full of engaging Biblical content focused on biblical truths paired with songs and memory verses encourage the child's interaction and memorization. Our materials are all scripturally sound, focused on discipleship, and invites our Adventure Kids into spiritually and emotionally healthy relationships with Jesus!

These social media platforms are a great opportunity to connect with other parents and to access parent tools and discussion topics for your child based on what we are learning at Adventure Kids. "Follow" us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all upcoming announcements about special events, camps & more! Within the Adventure Kids Ministry, we also have a class for children with special needs called the Adaptive Class. This room is open during our 2nd Service time slot monitored by 2 Leaders whose primary focus is providing a safe and loving space for our Adaptive Adventure Kids to play and worship Jesus. We have 2 Sensory Rooms available for the Adaptive class to use in order to provide a non-overly stimulating space so we can be intentional with our Adventure Kids.
