The Israelites were tasked with the spiritual business of driving out the Canaanites completely from the Promised Land in order for God to be worshipped there in every place. But they failed to fully complete the mission. The Church has the mission of making disciples of all nations so that Jesus is worshipped in every place. But the business is still unfinished.
