Passage: Colossians

Work isn’t just a paycheck—it’s worship. In this message, we explore how the gospel transforms the way we show up on Mondays: our assignment, abilities, attitude, and accountability. From Eden to the empty tomb, Scripture reframes vocation: God gives us our label before our labor, and Christ redeems our work from futility, fatigue, and frailty. Whether you lead a company, teach a class, stock shelves, parent littles, or serve behind the scenes—“Whatever you do, do it heartily…for the Lord” (Col. 3:23).

Key takeaways:
Assignment: Your role is entrusted by God—serve faithfully where you are.
Abilities: “Whatever you do…” means every gift matters in God’s mission.
Attitude: Work heartily—not for eye-service, but as those serving King Jesus.
Accountability: Bosses and employees alike answer to a Master in heaven.
Redemption of work: In Christ, your labor regains purpose, strength, and eternal impact (1 Cor. 15:58).

Put it into practice this week:
Start your shift with a 30-second prayer: “Lord, I’m working for You today.”
Choose excellence in one routine task—do it as an offering, not an obligation.
Encourage a coworker by name; replace one complaint with gratitude.
End your day by noting where you saw God’s grace in your work.
