Passage: Mark 3:13-19

Jesus didn’t change the world with celebrities, scholars, or the religious elite.
He chose ordinary people. Fishermen. Tax collectors. Imperfect men with flaws, failures, and doubts. And by His grace, He transformed them into world-changers.

In Mark 3:13–19, we’re reminded that God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. The disciples weren’t chosen because of what they were, but because of what Jesus would make them through His power and presence.

That same invitation still stands today:
Be with Jesus.
Follow Jesus.
Be changed by Jesus.

You may feel ordinary, overlooked, unprepared, or imperfect… but God delights in using ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.

The power was never in the disciples themselves. The difference was simple:
“They had been with Jesus.”
