Passage: Mark 4:1-20

The seed is good. The question is: What kind of soil is your heart?

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus reveals that the difference isn't the message—it’s how we receive it. Some hearts are hardened by unbelief. Others are shallow, responding with excitement but lacking deep roots. Some are crowded by worries, distractions, and the pursuit of worldly things. But receptive hearts welcome God's Word and bear lasting fruit.

Every time we hear Scripture, we are responding to God in one way or another. Are we allowing His Word to take root, transform our lives, and produce fruit for His glory?

Take a moment today to examine your heart. Is there hard ground that needs to be broken up? Thorns that need to be pulled out? Areas where God is calling you to deeper faith and obedience?

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear." — Mark 4:9
